It's a love story.... One reason why I love photography is that it push me to explore more. It push me to observe deeper and to find the beauty in everything small things...or big things 🥰 Sometimes it's more challenging finding this beauty in a mundane place like your home. And there are times you're lucky to be in places like this. I know many of you are photographers, do you get these feeling too? 7-15 kg worth of gears could be challenging to carry sometimes, especially if you're going up mountains amd rocks here in the Rockies 😂 but in the end it's always worth is effort. It's definitely my motivation to push the limit and go to places I have never been. You can also call it my ROCK, it feels like it too sometimes 😅 Have you been to Western Australia? I'm proud to say and call this home... No.. I dont live in the cave. 😝 but this is Western Australia, and it's always surprising that beautiful spot lile this exist amongs a land so big filled with mainly bush and dirts. Honestly, you have no idea how much bush and dirts are there in Western Australia until you drive through it 😂 but how beautiful is this place? I like to think of this like the eye to mother nature.

Can you spot @wanderthroughworld on the first photo?
Imagine.... Walking through 20 to 30 m high narrow gorges, surrounded by beautiful orange rock features. Crawling on the rock, hanging on so that you don’t fall to the water, and yet in many cases you have to jump and swim in the water to be able to get to these places. But at the end of it you are rewarded with such a secluded place like this. A beautiful pool just for ourself. The biggest struggle for me was to carry all my camera gear is my tripods through the water, especially when I am so short. But in the end it’s all worth it.
Have you ever seen or heard about this place? This is beautiful Karijini located in the middle of Western Australia vast desert. Would you want to visit this spot?

Ah... Western Australia... It was definitely one of the best part of my trip around Australia! Actually Cape York and Fraser Island is pretty close. This is one of the most beautiful waterfall I've seen. Nice cold water for a quick dip to cool down. Tucked in Karijini National park, you sure hope you got a big fat tires to deflate. The roads are horribly corrugated, I remembered that my ute tub cover kept coming off until I put high tensile bolt to put it together 😂 honestly don't know how many km of bush and dirth I get to drive through.
This is one that I haved vision with. The big bucket list, the waterfall aligns with Milkyway above it. Oh wait where is the milkyway? We were here from about noon to 9 pm waiting for that perfect shot. Yup! It was perfect all right! 😃 Photo tips:
So... What makes this spot so beautiful? Is it the texture? The horizontal lone that take you to the waterfall? Or the colours? The answer is all of the above! These three are composition technique that makes this photo so beautiful.

Happy Eid al-Fitr 2020 to those who celebrate it.
Eid al-Fitr means festival of breaking the fast for the Muslim community. This shot was shot in 2018 during Sholat Eid, or the prayer to celebrate the end of the fasting season. It must be hard having to isolate and not able to physically be there with your family during this time but I hope that doesn't stop you to have a great celebration.

Here's my final civersation about my struggle leaving my career for my passion
.
For those who came across myself you know, I’m a lively person…. also lovely 😆 but I always try to be happy and cheerful, because you never know how much that smile means to other people.
Don't think for a second I’m always happy, I get sad too, I cry, I get depressed just like most of you. and I’m thankful for those moments because those are the moments that make a good time even better! That makes you appreciate the small thing in life. That makes you HUMAN!
You are perfect the way you are!
It’s not always easy but I can tell you the best thing in life is to smile. one, it makes you happier, two it makes other people who see you happier and three it makes you happy to see other people happier. It’s a vicious cycle! but in a good way. Even when I was working as an engineer, looking back, this was probably my biggest asset.
So here I am, Travelling and taking photographs. This is the medium that I choose to do this through. This is the medium that I fell in love with! A medium that i feel best to allow me to reach you and to reach myself deep inside. Let me know if I've achieved this one way or another to you. Let me know what you enjoyed the most from my content!

I came across Steve’s Jobs quote, “if today were the last day of your life, would you do what you’re about to do today?” I wrote this on my bathroom mirror, and read it out loud every single day. For the longest time, the answer was no….. until I decided that I want something more than being an engineer and I started to take small actions towards what I actually want in life and when I find my purpose, it become clear what I had to do an the choices I have to make
.
Since then life been simpler. in every fork I came across, I think about what form the two I want the most, the consequences and whether or not I can accept these consequences. I stop listening to other people! I asked for their opinion as a CONSIDERATION and I only ask those who I believe support my cause. .
But in the end, I realised that every single decision you only have yourself to rely on. it’s you who’s going to feel the failure, success, hurt, happiness. It doesn’t matter who gave you the advice, you’re the one who pulls the trigger, the one who makes it happen. .
You always have a choice!
.
I’ve come to realise that it’s more important to be able to experience the world, it’s more important to touch others through your kindness and it’s more important to be able to spread some inspiration. .
Remember you don’t have quit your job to be able to do this. you don’t have to leave everything you have and start a new life. you can do this with the smallest things.

Here's a story of how I decided to pursue my dream part 1: Brought up in Asian culture many would assume that I was told to do engineering. If that’s what you think I can tell you that you’re wrong. I was fortunate to have parent’s who let me choose the direction I wanted to go. I wanted to do political science, architecture, software engineer, psychology and eventually I land on mechanical engineering
.
.
When we grew up our society emphasises not to fail, to excel and most of all uses money as a measurement of success. What if I tell you that I used to hate travelling, I thought it was a waste of time. I choose engineering mainly because of the opportunity to earn money in the shortest amount of study time, 4 years! Hahaha.. yeah I was a bad student, I literary made it through a sheer will. I didn’t have to take masters degree or internship like architecture or psychology does. I was playing it safe, I listened to what people say and criticise. I wasn’t living my own life
.
.
It’s amazing how the hardest time in your life can turn your life around, more amazing how a thing so small could be my lowest point. I had a think about this moment and finally, I realised then it was all in your head. It was hard because I made it to be, because I made a big deal about it and because I didn’t believe in myself
.
.
A mere break up was my lowest point, and you’d think what a cry baby I was. You probably right. It was then that I realised that my biggest enemy was my taught, my own head, my own security
.
.
I had everything to thank for. 23 different countries were funded through engineering, I had a chance to drive around Australia in my 4WD on a pretty sweet rig, I get to access the places I wouldn't be able to otherwise, I get to taste a great “posh” lifestyle. It also gave me a buffer to mess up in my new venture. But most of all it made me realised that there are bigger things that $$$, fancy cars and big houses. There were a few things that made me left engineering but the most important reason was my fear of regret. My fear to live life-based on fear, not passion. My fear that I do not live to the fullest. So slowly I started to feed my self with positive things.
